The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 74,955 yuan/mt, down 445 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 73,900-76,200 yuan/mt, with an average price of 75,050 yuan/mt, down 500 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 71,300-72,300 yuan/mt, with an average price of 71,800 yuan/mt, down 500 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The transaction price center for lithium carbonate spot cargoes has slightly declined. Some material plants are nearing the end of their pre-holiday inventory stocking, leading to a slight weakening in purchasing sentiment. Currently, upstream lithium chemical plants still exhibit strong sentiment to stand firm on quotes, with most transactions occurring between traders and downstream material plants. Considering the actual supply and demand situation for lithium carbonate and the current market inventory levels of circulating lithium carbonate, it is expected that lithium carbonate spot prices still have slight downside room, accompanied by sideways movement.
