SMM has learned that on the evening of December 24, Wolong Electric Drives announced that the company plans to invest in the construction of the Baotou Damaoqi New Energy Plus Energy Storage Grid-Connected Pilot Demonstration Project through its subsidiary, Shunfeng New Energy (Damaoqi) Co., Ltd. The total installed capacity of the project is 500MW, with a total investment of 2.03 billion yuan. The project has been approved by the Baotou Development and Reform Commission. According to the announcement, the Baotou Damaoqi New Energy Plus Energy Storage Grid-Connected Pilot Demonstration Project has significant economic and social benefits.
