SMM, December 20: According to SMM statistics, as of December 20, the national social inventory of silicon metal totaled 532,000 mt, down 4,000 mt WoW. Among them, the inventory in general social warehouses was 152,000 mt, up 1,000 mt WoW, while the inventory in social delivery warehouses (including unregistered warehouse warrants and spot cargo) was 380,000 mt, down 5,000 mt WoW. Most silicon metal warehouses reported sluggish inflows and outflows this week. Some warehouses saw increased inventory due to higher arrivals, while certain delivery warehouses in Tianjin experienced significant inventory reductions due to higher spot cargo outflows, leading to an overall decrease in social inventory this week.
