SMM December 18 News: Dealers in Hunan reported that the replacement demand in the automotive lead-acid battery market was moderate, with battery sales showing relatively small differences compared to November. Additionally, the annual sales plan has been basically completed, and the current battery inventory is approximately one and a half months.

Manufacturers in Hubei indicated that the overall market demand for automotive lead-acid batteries remained stable, with strong orders for vehicle assembly. Moreover, as it is the end of the year, factory production lines are operating at full capacity, and raw lead is being purchased as needed.

Manufacturers in Zhejiang stated that the peak season for the automotive lead-acid battery market is coming to an end, and dealers' purchasing enthusiasm has relatively weakened. Currently, factories are maintaining production based on sales, with production line operating rates above 90%. Additionally, with rising lead prices, raw material procurement is primarily based on long-term contracts.
