This week, the center of copper prices slightly increased WoW. However, secondary copper traders in Linyi Metal City reported that secondary copper procurement was challenging this week. Due to the decline in overseas secondary copper supply, the demand for domestic secondary copper surged, leading to a significant decrease in secondary copper procurement volume for traders in Linyi Metal City this week. Additionally, as the procurement demand from secondary copper rod plants persisted, traders were forced to procure raw materials at high prices to ensure timely procurement. This week, secondary copper in Linyi had a premium range of 100 to 200 yuan. Most secondary copper traders' in-plant inventories have been cleared, with only a few traders retaining inventories of fifty to sixty mt.
