Aluminum Billet Inventory Declines, Tightening Supply with Falling Processing Fees

According to SMM statistics, as of December 5, the domestic social inventory of aluminum billets was 94,400 mt, a destocking of 4,900 mt compared to last Thursday, falling below 100,000 mt, making the recent supply of aluminum billets slightly tight. The weekly average processing fees of φ120 aluminum billets in Foshan recorded 412 yuan/mt, down 38 yuan/mt WoW; in Wuxi, the weekly average processing fees of φ120 aluminum billets recorded 328 yuan/mt, down 9 yuan/mt WoW; in Nanchang, the weekly average processing fees of φ120 aluminum billets recorded 302 yuan/mt, remaining mostly flat.
