[SMM Spot Copper] During the day, mainstream standard-quality copper was quoted at a premium of 20-40 yuan/mt against the front-month contract, while high-quality copper was quoted at a premium of 40-60 yuan/mt. Spot premiums initially declined but later rebounded, with overall supplier activity remaining low. Apart from a few low-priced transactions, suppliers continued to hold back cargoes. Downstream buyers focused mainly on annual long-term contract negotiations this week, with purchasing sentiment also showing a mediocre performance. It is expected that spot premiums will remain stable next Monday.
