[Wencan NEV Lightweight Parts Chongqing Production Site Topped Out for Some Buildings] According to relevant reports, the key project located in Qingfeng Science and Technology Innovation City, Shapingba District, Chongqing, the Wencan NEV Lightweight Parts Chongqing Production Site, has successfully topped out buildings 1, 2, and 3, with approximately 80% of the entire project completed. The project is invested and constructed by Chongqing Wencan Die Casting Co., Ltd., covering an area of 128 mu, with a total construction area of approximately 69,000 m². It will build an integrated smart factory encompassing die casting, machining, post-processing, and assembly processes, creating a research and production base for lightweight integrated auto body structures and power systems for NEVs. Sun Yue, the on-site representative of the Wencan project, introduced that the project is expected to undergo equipment commissioning in April next year and reach full production in H2 next year. The project will install two 12,000T die casting machines to provide customers with integrated and lightweight solutions for NEVs.
