SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price is 78,012 yuan/mt, down 133 yuan/mt from the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate is 77,100-79,100 yuan/mt, with an average price of 78,210 yuan/mt, down 150 yuan/mt from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate is 74,350-75,350 yuan/mt, with an average price of 74,850 yuan/mt, down 150 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Demand side, some downstream material plants are expected to reduce production schedules, and with strong year-end destocking sentiment, purchasing sentiment weakens. Supply side, upstream lithium chemical smelters have a strong sentiment to stand firm on quotes as the long-term contract negotiation period approaches. Overall, actual market transactions are relatively sparse.
