CISA: Mid-November Social Steel Inventory at 6.84 Million mt, Down 90,000 mt WoW
CISA released the mid-November 2024 social steel inventory monitoring report. In mid-November, the social steel inventory of five major types in 21 cities was 6.84 million mt, down 90,000 mt WoW, a decrease of 1.3%. The inventory continued to decline slightly; it was down 450,000 mt from the beginning of the year, a decrease of 6.2%; and down 890,000 mt from the same period last year, a decrease of 11.5%. Among them, the rebar inventory was 2.67 million mt, up 150,000 mt WoW, an increase of 6.0%, with inventory continuously rising; it was down 380,000 mt from the beginning of the year, a decrease of 12.5%; and down 280,000 mt from the same period last year, a decrease of 9.5%.
