[LG Signs 8GWh Energy Storage System Order in the US!] SMM has learned that on November 16, LG Energy Solution's US subsidiary announced the signing of a four-year energy storage supply order with US renewable energy developer Terra-Gen. LG will supply Terra-Gen with 8GWh of energy storage systems.
It is reported that this energy storage system supply agreement will last from 2026 to 2029, with a total order volume of 8GWh, mainly providing large-capacity LFP battery container energy storage systems. In addition to batteries and other hardware, LG also plans to provide the software "Aeros," which can analyze the performance of the energy storage system based on the cloud and monitor overall data in real-time. Analysts pointed out that assuming the container price is $170 to $190/kW, the total value of this order is expected to reach $1.43 billion.
