EVE's 10 Billion Yuan Battery Project in Shenyang Achieves Phase One Topping Out

[EVE's 10 Billion Yuan Battery Project Achieves Significant Progress] SMM has learned that on November 14, the first phase of EVE's energy storage and power battery project in Tiexi District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province—the cylindrical battery project—was successfully topped out, marking the project's full entry into the enclosure structure and decoration stages.

The project started in March 2023 with an investment of 10 billion yuan, filling the gap in Shenyang's new energy power battery industry. The construction period from the first beam hoisting to the topping out of the main part of the project was only 189 days. The project is expected to be constructed in two phases, building a new energy power battery R&D center, office buildings, and modern production plants in the northern region, producing energy storage and power batteries with a planned capacity of 40 GWh. The topped-out project is the first phase—the cylindrical battery project, mainly producing 46 series large cylindrical batteries, with an annual capacity of 10 GWh, expected to be completed and put into trial production in March 2025.
