Xi'an's First User-Side Energy Storage Project Successfully Connected to Grid

[The First User-Side Energy Storage Project in Xi'an, Shaanxi Connected to the Grid] Recently, the 1,725kW/5,505kWh energy storage EPC project at Beishiqiao Treatment Plant in Xi'an, undertaken by Sinomach Northwest Institute, was connected to the grid as scheduled and passed the acceptance inspection by the State Grid Xi'an Power Supply Company. All operational parameters met expectations, marking the official commissioning of Xi'an's first user-side energy storage project. This project serves as a positive demonstration for the subsequent construction and promotion of energy storage projects in Xi'an.

According to the national implementation opinions on promoting synergistic efficiency in pollution reduction and carbon reduction, a 1,725kW/5,505kWh LFP battery energy storage system unit was installed within the Beishiqiao Treatment Plant in Yanta District, Xi'an. The energy storage system is configured with one energy storage unit, which includes two energy storage battery containers and one integrated energy storage inverter and booster unit. The energy capacity of a single battery container is 2,752.51kWh.
