**Quick News: Sodium Battery Project - Sijie Technology's 1.2GWh Sodium-Ion Battery Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle Battery PACK Project**
On November 9, 2024, Hunan Sijie Technology Co., Ltd. officially commenced production of its 1.2GWh sodium-ion battery energy storage and electric vehicle battery PACK project at the Miluo High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Yueyang. The company leads the domestic sodium-ion battery industry, having established the country's first fully functional sodium-ion battery PACK production line focused on PACK design, production, and sales. Currently, they have developed multiple application products specifically designed for sodium-ion batteries, including sodium-ion industrial and commercial energy storage cabinets, sodium-ion power batteries for electric two-wheelers, and a series of products like Clean Energy Treasures. The initial investment for the project was nearly RMB 200 million, with an expected annual output value of RMB 700 million. Plans are in place to add two more energy storage production lines within the next three years, aiming to exceed an annual output value of RMB 2 billion.
