The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price is 74,796 yuan/tonne, a decrease of 9 yuan/tonne from the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate is priced between 74,050 and 75,850 yuan/tonne, with an average price of 74,950 yuan/tonne, remaining unchanged from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate is priced between 70,300 and 71,300 yuan/tonne, with an average price of 70,800 yuan/tonne, also unchanged from the previous working day. The consecutive rise in lithium carbonate prices has weakened the willingness of some downstream material factories to build inventories. Apart from downstream factories with rigid demand for purchases, the rest are currently cautious; upstream lithium salt factories, faced with relatively optimistic downstream production schedules, still maintain a strong stance on price support. Considering the current cumulative inventory levels of lithium carbonate, it is expected that spot prices of lithium carbonate will show a slight upward trend, accompanied by fluctuations within a range.
