The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price stood at RMB 73,645 per tonne, a decrease of RMB 122 per tonne compared to the previous working day. The price range for battery-grade lithium carbonate was RMB 72,100 to RMB 75,300 per tonne, with an average price of RMB 73,700 per tonne, representing a decline of RMB 150 per tonne from the previous working day. For industrial-grade lithium carbonate, the price range was RMB 69,050 to RMB 70,050 per tonne, averaging at RMB 69,550 per tonne, a drop of RMB 150 per tonne compared to the previous working day. The spot transaction price of lithium carbonate continued to decline. Downstream demand for production scheduling was relatively optimistic, driving up lithium carbonate consumption. Some downstream material factories had rigid demand for purchases or inventory replenishment. Upstream lithium salt factories mainly maintained a price-supporting stance. Considering the current cumulative inventory levels of lithium carbonate, it is expected that spot prices for lithium carbonate will exhibit fluctuations within a certain range.
