Notable Growth in Non-ferrous Metal Industries in First Nine Months

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry has demonstrated notable overall performance in the first nine months of this year. The industry achieved an operating revenue of RMB 6,335.50 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 15.0%; operating costs amounted to RMB 5,939.55 billion, up by 14.1%; and total profit reached RMB 225.46 billion, with a significant growth rate of 52.5%.

Meanwhile, the non-ferrous metal mining and ore dressing industry recorded an operating revenue of RMB 268.65 billion, up 8.3% year-on-year; operating costs stood at RMB 164.18 billion, a 4.9% increase compared to the previous year; and total profit amounted to RMB 69.51 billion, representing an 18.8% year-on-year growth. Overall, both related sectors have shown positive growth trends.
