[SMM Steel Market Morning News: Ministry of Commerce: The number of applicants and buyers for nationwide home appliance trade-ins has exceeded 20 million and 10 million respectively] The Ministry of Commerce and three other departments have issued the "Notice on Further Improving the Work of Home Appliance Trade-ins", providing subsidies for consumers purchasing eight types of home appliances with energy efficiency or water efficiency standards of Grade 2 or above. Regions across the country have responded positively and implemented the program conscientiously. Currently, the number of applicants and buyers for nationwide home appliance trade-ins has exceeded 20 million and 10 million respectively. According to the national home appliance trade-in data platform of the Ministry of Commerce, as of October 15, 20.667 million consumers have applied, and 10.134 million consumers have purchased 14.624 million units of eight major categories of home appliances, enjoying a central subsidy of RMB 13.17 billion, driving sales of RMB 69.09 billion...
