[SMM Copper Spot] The mainstream flat water copper quoted a flat water price to the contract of the current month, with a premium of RMB 20/ton, while high-quality copper quoted a premium ranging from RMB 40/ton to RMB 60/ton. After the National Day holiday, spot premiums opened high but closed low, as copper prices remained high and downstream raw material inventory digestion capacity was weak, leading to significant obstacles in destocking in some regions. However, as the final trading day of the Shanghai Futures Exchange's 2410 copper contract approached, holders of inventory offered limited concessions in terms of premiums. It is expected that spot premiums will remain stable tomorrow.
