The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price stood at 74,555 yuan/ton, a decrease of 45 yuan/ton from the previous working day; the price range for battery-grade lithium carbonate was 74,000-76,100 yuan/ton, with an average price of 75,050 yuan/ton, down 50 yuan/ton from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 70,500 to 71,300 yuan/ton, averaging at 70,900 yuan/ton, also a decrease of 50 yuan/ton from the previous working day. As downstream material factories approach the end of their inventory preparation ahead of the National Day holiday, the overall enthusiasm for inquiries and transactions has slightly waned compared to the beginning of the week. Upstream lithium salt producers have mainly maintained stable quotes, and on the whole, today's spot transaction prices of lithium carbonate remained stable. Given the current situation of reduced supply and increased demand, coupled with the still-high level of lithium carbonate inventory, it is expected that spot prices of lithium carbonate will fluctuate within a range.
