[Minmetals Energy Obtains New Patent Authorization for High Sphericity High-Nickel Ternary Precursor] Recently, Minmetals Energy (688779) has obtained a new invention patent authorization for a high-nickel ternary precursor with high sphericity, as well as its preparation method, high-nickel ternary cathode material, and lithium-ion battery. Patent Abstract: This invention provides a preparation method for a high-nickel ternary precursor with high sphericity. By conducting the co-precipitation reaction in stages and reasonably controlling the pH of the two-stage co-precipitation reaction process, as well as the matching design of the crystal nucleus size D50 and the stirring speed adjustment, the high-nickel precursor can maintain a high sphericity throughout the growth process, and a high-nickel precursor with a large particle size and no cracks on the surface can be prepared.
