According to the Ministry of Commerce's website, on September 19, 2024, the Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade published Notice No. 48 of 2024 in the official daily newspaper, announcing its decision to initiate an anti-dumping investigation into color-coated steel sheets imported from China and India, in response to an application filed by a Brazilian enterprise (Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional-CSN). The Mercosur tariff codes of the products involved are 72107010, 72107020, 72124010, 72124021, and 72124029. The period of investigation for dumping in this case is from April 2023 to March 2024, while the period for injury analysis spans from April 2019 to March 2024.
