Indonesia holds a pivotal position in the global nickel market. The supply and demand, production and sales situation of Indonesian nickel ore, as well as related policies, all affect the global nickel market trend. The RKAB issue led to tight supply of Indonesian nickel ore, which once ignited market bullish sentiment. Currently, the stainless steel industry is experiencing significant losses. Frequent overseas geopolitical conflicts such as the Red Sea crisis and congested sea transportation have driven the growth of stainless steel consumption in ships and metal containers. In H2, can stainless steel exports continue the outstanding performance of H1? Additionally, the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism has brought many challenges and opportunities to the steel industry.
