The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price stood at 72,311 yuan/ton, an increase of 204 yuan/ton from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 70,700 to 74,200 yuan/ton, with an average price of 72,450 yuan/ton, up 200 yuan/ton from the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 67,400 to 69,100 yuan/ton, with an average price of 68,250 yuan/ton, also up 200 yuan/ton from the previous working day. Today, spot prices rebounded slightly in line with commodities, prompting some lithium salt factories and traders who closely follow spot prices to raise their offers accordingly. There was slight purchasing activity from downstream material factories and battery cell factories with rigid demand, leading to an upward shift in the center of market transaction prices. Considering the actual supply-demand situation and cumulative inventory levels for the month, spot prices of lithium carbonate may fluctuate within a range and have room for further decline.
