Quanzhou Boosts Standards Development in Key Industries, Including Energy Storage Systems

[Quanzhou, Fujian: Actively Participating in the Formulation and Revision of National, Industrial, and Local Provincial/Municipal Standards in Key Areas Such as Energy Storage Systems] Recently, the Joint Meeting Office of the Standardization Coordination and Promotion Department in Quanzhou issued a notice on the "Quanzhou Action Plan for Promoting Equipment Upgrade and the Standard Improvement of Consumer Goods Trade-ins" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").

The "Plan" emphasizes the exploration and establishment of certification standard systems such as carbon labeling and "battery passports," giving full play to the role of standards in leading, green certification, and high-end certification. It also calls for increasing the supply of electronic product standards and guiding local electronic enterprises to leverage their unique strengths to actively participate in the formulation and revision of national, industrial, and local provincial/municipal standards in key industries and areas, including integrated circuits, compound semiconductors, communication equipment, electronic components, and energy storage systems. Furthermore, enterprises are encouraged to develop a batch of high-quality group standards and enterprise standards.
