On September 6, SMM nickel ore inventory at ports across the country continued to accumulate by 120,000 wmt to 9.172 million wmt compared to August 30. The total metal content is equivalent to 72,010 mt. In the Philippines, the shipments of laterite ore to Indonesia in August had a certain increase. Entering September, with Indonesia's intention to control the grade of high-grade NPI becoming clearer, it is expected that the demand for Philippine laterite ore in the Indonesian market will significantly weaken, and the proportion of Philippine ore returning to the domestic market may further increase.
