Weekly Alumina Operating Rate Drops 0.81% to 83.48%, Driven by Declines in Henan and Shanxi

[Weekly Operating Rate of Alumina] According to SMM data, as of Thursday, the weekly operating rate of alumina nationwide decreased by 0.81 percentage points from the previous week to 83.48%. Specifically, the weekly operating rate of alumina in Henan Province decreased slightly by 5.06 percentage points from the previous week to 59.66%, mainly due to tight supply of ore in some alumina plants and production line maintenance. In Shanxi Province, the weekly operating rate of alumina decreased by 2.41 percentage points from the previous week; while in Shandong Province, it increased by 0.34 percentage points; and in Guangxi Province, it increased by 1.94 percentage points. The operating rate of an alumina plant in Hebei Province decreased from the previous week, primarily due to equipment maintenance.
