Today, iron ore futures continued to decline, with the most-traded contract I2501 falling below 700 points, ultimately closing at 689.5, down 3.09% for the day.

[China Iron Ore Brief Review] Iron ore concentrate prices in the Chengde region are expected to remain stable

[China Iron Ore Brief] The EXW price of 65% grade iron ore concentrates in the Chengde area, on a dry basis and tax-inclusive, remains at 925 yuan/mt. According to SMM tracking, following successive accidents at mines in the Kuancheng region of Chengde, local mines and beneficiation plants are currently in a state of suspension. This has intensified the overall tightness of local iron ore concentrate resources, providing strong support for local iron ore concentrate prices. On the demand side, steel mills and traders mostly purchase as needed, with a strong overall desire to bargain down prices.

[쓰촨-윈난 규소 기업 가동률 상승, 금속 규소 시장 압박]: 공급 측면에서 쓰촨·윈난 지역 규소 기업들의 우기 생산 재개로 가동률이 상승했다. 수급 균형 측면에서 6~7월 금속 규소 공급 증가가 수요 증가를 앞지르며 이론상 업계 재고가 누적 상태다. 펀더멘털은 약세이며 최근 긍정적 호재 부재로 상방 동력이 부족한 가운데 비용에 따른 하방 지지도 제한적이다. 전반적으로 가격은 좁은 범위 내 약보합세를 보이고 있다.
