Midea Group's Semi-Annual Revenue Soars 10.3%, Driven by Strong Domestic and Overseas Growth

Midea Group released its semi-annual report, showing that in the first half of 2024, the company achieved operating revenue of 217.274 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%; net profit attributable to shareholders reached 20.804 billion yuan, up 14.11% year-on-year. Specifically, domestic revenue amounted to 126.198 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.37%; while overseas revenue reached 91.076 billion yuan, a growth of 13.09%. Among them, revenue from HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) amounted to 101.461 billion yuan, up 10.28%; consumer electronics revenue reached 75.138 billion yuan, also up 10.28%; and revenue from robots, automation systems, and other manufacturing sectors was 18.3 billion yuan, a 6.02% increase.
