Volvo Cars' Daqing Plant First-Phase Upgrade Nears Completion, New Battery & Alloy Facilities Underway

A series of works are being carried out at the site of the first-phase technology upgrading and renovation project of the Daqing Plant of Volvo Cars, including the construction of new battery production and aluminum alloy casting facilities as well as the expansion of the welding shop. With a total investment of 4.4 billion yuan, the main construction of the plant has been completed, and the works such as roofing, drainage, and floor pouring are progressing steadily. It is expected that the installation of equipment will begin in September.
