Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 21, Great Wall Motor's WEY brand officially put the all-new Blue Mountain (named "Lanshan" in Chinese pinyin) onto the market, offering two variants with prices ranging from 299,800 yuan to 326,800 yuan.
The exterior of the all-new Blue Mountain maintains a streamlined design consistent with the brand's signature aesthetics. The front end is characterized by a semi-enclosed design featuring the WEY logo prominently in the center, flanked by sharply contoured split-type headlights that enhance its recognizability. Additionally, the lower part of the front fascia incorporates a trapezoidal air intake grille with a blacked-out finish, adding to the vehicle's imposing presence.
As for the side profile, the all-new Blue Mountain exhibits a squared-off profile with a slightly upward-sloping waistline, accentuated by chrome trim around the window frames, lending it a modern appeal. The model also includes hidden door handles for a sleek look.
The rear is distinguished by innovative wraparound tail lights and a broad rear bumper, both contributing to its strong visual identity. The vehicle measures 5,156 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.
Inside, the new vehicle continues the minimalist design approach with a tech-forward interior. A 15.6-inch central touchscreen paired with a passenger-side display and a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel create a high-tech ambiance. The vehicle comes equipped with the Coffee OS 3 intelligent cockpit system, which supports customizable desktop widgets, a DOCK bar, and multi-screen interaction. The system integrates a custom Gaode (AutoNavi) map with features like traffic light countdowns, simplified voice prompts, congestion chat rooms, and EV charging station data.
In terms of intelligent driving, the all-new Blue Mountain is equipped with the Coffee Pilot Ultra system, which supports HD map-free NOA (Navigation on Autopilot). Hardware includes an NVIDIA Orin-X chip, a roof-mounted LiDAR, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 high-definition perception cameras, totaling 27 sensors.
Powering the all-new Blue Mountain is a DHT-PHEV system combining a 1.5T engine with a P4 electric motor, delivering a maximum combined output of 380 kW and a peak torque of 933 N·m. The vehicle supports three driving modes: pure electric, electric-first, and intelligent hybrid. It offers two range options: 185 km and 220 km in battery power alone, corresponding to a WLTC-rated combined range of 1,307 km and 1,343 km, respectively. Additionally, the model is equipped with a CDC (continuous damping control) system for enhanced ride comfort.
