[Humon Co., Ltd.: Safety Accident Occurred in the Company] Humon Co., Ltd. announced that a sudden splash occurred at the copper tapping hole of the side-blowing furnace in its first smelting plant, resulting in injuries to on-site personnel. After the accident, the company immediately activated the emergency plan and carried out rescue operations, sending the injured personnel to the hospital for emergency treatment as soon as possible. As of the disclosure date of this announcement, three employees died during hospitalization; three are currently undergoing hospitalization with stable conditions; and 11 employees with minor injuries have been discharged. After the accident, the first smelting plant involved was shut down for rectification and will resume production after the investigation department issues conclusions and the rectification is accepted as qualified. According to the company's initial estimation, this accident will not have a significant adverse impact on the company's production and operation or performance.
