China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Starts Bidding for Grid-forming Energy Storage Systems and Industrial & Commercial EPC Energy Storage Projects] On August 8th, China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Technology Company kicked off the bidding process for prefabricated combined cabin-type power distribution systems, secondary system equipment, grid-forming battery energy storage system frameworks, and user-side electrochemical energy storage EPC turnkey projects for battery energy storage power stations. Among them, a total of 19 enterprises participated in the bidding for the grid-forming battery energy storage system framework procurement. The bidding prices of Tianyi Energy, Xuji Electric, CATL, BYD, Zhongchu Technology, and Weisheng Energy ranged from 0.59 to 0.715 yuan/Wh, with an average bid price of 0.654 yuan/Wh.

Additionally, Siprotec, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, GP Batteries, Zhiguang Energy Storage, Rongheyuanchu, TBEA, Cair Energy, Changzhou PowerEnergy, Siyuan Qingneng, Sungrow Power Supply, Hechu Energy, China Southern Power Grid Technology, and Sungrow Power Electronics also participated in the bidding.
