[Keshiketeng Banner Actively Advances the Construction of the Verasto Lithium Polymetallic Mine and the Layout of the Lithium Industry Chain] The Verasto lithium polymetallic mine in Keshiketeng Banner is a large-scale lithium polymetallic deposit first discovered in northern China, with significant economic value. The mine boasts rich reserves: a total ore volume of approximately 450 million tons, 2.51 million tons of lithium oxide with an average grade of 0.56%, and 148,000 tons of tin metal with an average grade of 0.91%. Currently, the deposit is the largest hard-rock type lithium mine in Asia and the largest single tin mine north of the Yangtze River. The deposit's construction is planned in two phases: Phase I, with a mining and processing capacity of 8,000 tons per day (2.4 million tons per year), is currently in the process of obtaining a mining permit and is expected to commence production in 2025; Phase II will have a mining and processing capacity of 60,000 to 70,000 tons per day (20 million tons per year).
