[Canadian Solar's 500MW/2000MWh Independent Energy Storage Power Station Project Expected to Be Completed and Put into Operation by the End of September] Canadian Solar Inc. officially commenced construction of its independent energy storage power station project in Suzhou District, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province in May 2024. The total scale of this independent energy storage power station is 500MW/2000MWh, which will be built in two phases. The first phase under construction has a scale of approximately 200MW/800MWh and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of September 2024. The first phase will include a total of 54 sets of 3.709MW/14.836MWh energy storage subsystems, with each subsystem comprising four energy storage battery cabins with an installed capacity of 3.709MWh, and one converter and step-up transformer integrated cabin with an installed capacity of 2*2000kWPCS+4000kVA.
