NEA Launches Special Supervision on Distributed PV Progress in 11 Provinces, Focusing on Registration, Grid Connection, Trading, and Settlement

Cailian Press, August 2 - According to the energy supervision work arrangements for 2024, the National Energy Administration (NEA) has decided to conduct a special supervision on the progress of distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation registration and grid connection in 11 provinces. This supervision will encompass the implementation of policies such as distributed PV registration by local energy regulatory authorities at all levels; and will oversee grid companies' performance in distributed PV grid connection, trading, and settlement. The scope of the special supervision may be extended to distributed PV development and construction enterprises as appropriate. The supervision will focus on four main areas: distributed PV registration, grid connection, trading, and settlement. Relevant provinces may choose their key directions for supervision based on actual work conditions.
