【Guangdong Province Charging (Swapping) Infrastructure Equipment Upgrading and Renovation Plan (2024-2027)】SMM has learned that on July 17, the Guangdong Provincial Energy Administration issued a notification regarding the printing and distribution of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure equipment upgrading plan. The document proposes that Guangdong has started the construction of charging infrastructure early with a large base, and many charging facilities have been in service for a long time or with low original charging power, making it necessary for upgrading and renovation. Dynamically promoting the upgrading and renovation of charging infrastructure equipment with a power below 60 kilowatts or in service for more than 5 years to ultra-fast charging facilities with a power of 120 kilowatts or above or 360 kilowatts and above, or ultra-fast charging and fast charging facilities, will help improve charging efficiency, save land resources, serve more vehicle models, and promote industrial development.
