The lithium battery recycling project of Guangdong Meizhida New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Meizhida) has obtained approval and is planned to handle 35,000 tons of lithium batteries annually. Recently, Meizhida has been approved to establish a comprehensive recycling production line supporting project with an annual capacity of 35,000 tons of waste lithium batteries. The project is located in the Sino-German Metal Ecopolis, Jiedong District, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of approximately 7,000 square meters with a total investment of 100 million yuan. Geographically, the project is situated to the west of Zhujiang Avenue and to the north of Jinhong Road. Through this project, Meizhida plans to recycle waste lithium batteries, reprocess the separated metals, and manufacture battery raw materials to supply battery manufacturers for reuse. Founded in 2022, Meizhida has its headquarters in Jieyang, Guangdong Province. The company's main business covers the recycling, processing, and cascade utilization of retired power batteries, mobile phone batteries, and lithium batteries for new energy applications.
