Tianqi Lithium's Appeal Rejected by CMF: Transaction Must Be Examined by SQM Board

[Tianqi Lithium: CMF disagrees with the appeal of Tianqi Chile]

Tianqi Lithium announced that on June 18, 2024, local time in Chile, CMF publicly released a "Response from CMF to Materials Submitted by Tianqi Chile". CMF believes that the "Partnership Agreement" is not suitable to be decided by SQM's extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, and the transaction should be analyzed and decided by SQM's board of directors; this does not affect the right of shareholders to investigate the liability of directors under general rules if they believe that it causes harm to SQM and shareholders (if applicable). Therefore, CMF disagrees with the appeal of Tianqi Chile.
