Limited transactions from magnetic material producers caused rare earth prices to continue to fall

Last week, rare earth prices generally continued to decline. According to the SMM survey, as rare earth oxide prices kept falling, miners faced increasing cost pressure and held prices more firm. However, orders from downstream magnetic material producers remained poor, with limited transactions.

As upstream and downstream are in a deadlock, rare earth prices are expected to gradually stabilise.
