According to the survey of SMM, a battery enterprise in Jiangxi province said that the domestic market has seen imported lead ingots after processing and impurity removal, and the factory price was 200 yuan/ton less than SMM1# lead. It is reported that due to the difference between domestic and foreign lead ingot standards, imported lead ingots cannot be directly applied to the production of domestic battery enterprises. Battery enterprises regard them as reduced lead and need to pay processing fees ranging from 150 to 300 yuan/ton at domestic smelters for impurity removal processing before purchasing them as recycled refined lead.
