Pr-Nd oxide prices continuously declined, some rare earth metal factories opted to sell at low prices to recoup funds

This week, Pr-Nd oxide prices continuously declined. The mainstream prices of Pr-Nd oxide fell from 375,000-377,000 yuan/mt last Thursday to 362,000-365,000 yuan/mt this Thursday, down approximately 3.3% WoW. The price of Pr-Nd alloy also ran weak, dropping from 460,000-465,000 yuan/mt last Thursday to 448,000-450,000 yuan/mt this Thursday, down about 2.9% WoW.

As rare earth metal prices continued to weaken, some rare earth metal factories opted to sell at low prices to recoup funds. Meanwhile, the rare earth metal price was still lower than that of rare earth oxides. It is expected rare earth metal prices may continue to fluctuate at low levels in the future.
