Pr-Nd prices fell last week but the decline slowed down

Last week, Pr-Nd oxide prices continued to drop. The mainstream prices of Pr-Nd oxide fluctuated downward from 398,000-401,000 yuan/mt on May 16 to 386,000-388,000 yuan/mt on May 23, down approximately 3.1% WoW. Pr-Nd alloy prices also decreased from 495,000-500,000 yuan/mt on May 16 to 483,000-485,000 yuan/mt on May 23, down approximately 2.7% WoW.

Some rare earth metal enterprises had low demand, leaving traders lowering prices to sell. The overall market adopted a wait-and-see stance. Although Pr-Nd prices fell last week, the decline has slowed down recently. As separation plants were not willing to offer further discounts, Pr-Nd prices are expected to stabilize soon.
