According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to April 2024, the operating income of nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 2.56883 trillion yuan, with an operating cost of 2.41849 trillion yuan and a total profit of 75.48 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 11.5%, 10.3% and 56.6% respectively.

Meanwhile, from January to April, the operating income of nonferrous metal mining and beneficiation industry was 114.11 billion yuan, with an operating cost of 74.61 billion yuan and a total profit of 25.13 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 11.5%, 15.4% and 1.6% respectively.
