GAC Aion's bonded factory in Thailand was officially approved

On the evening of May 7th, GAC Aion announced that it had made key progress in local production in Thailand, signing an agreement with the bonded area 185 of its Thai factory. This means that after the approval of the bonded area 185, the import tariffs for all production parts will be reduced from 11% to 0%; and electric vehicles produced in the bonded area will enjoy the same tariff exemption and customs clearance convenience as locally produced electric vehicles within the ASEAN member states.
