Energy storage of 77.7GWh with an average energy storage duration of 2.2 hours

As of the end of the first quarter of 2024, the cumulative installed capacity of newly commissioned energy storage projects in the country has reached 35.3GW/77.68GWh. New energy storage power stations are gradually showing a trend towards centralized and large-scale development, with projects with a capacity of 100MW and above accounting for 54.8% of the installed capacity. The average energy storage duration of new energy storage projects in the country is 2.2 hours, with projects with a duration of 2-4 hours accounting for 74.6% of the installed capacity.
