SMM Tin Review: Shanghai Tin Prices Surge, LME Tin Inventory Increases by 200 Tons
Shanghai tin prices rose sharply in early trading today, with downstream enterprises taking a wait-and-see approach and only a few making small purchases of tin ingots. Most trading enterprises reported minimal transactions, with few inquiries from customers. Overall, the spot market was relatively quiet due to the price surge. Today, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw an increase of 68 tons in tin warrants, reaching 14,024 tons, while LME tin inventory increased by 200 tons to 4,245 tons.
