2024 NIO ET7 model to be displayed at Auto China 2024

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 15, NIO announced that the 2024 NIO ET7 will be available for pre-orders starting April 16 and will make its debut in showrooms nationwide. The model will be officially showcased at the 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), which will raised its curtain on April 25.

The new car is positioned as an "intelligent electric high-end executive sedan". From the teaser images, it appears that the interior will undergo significant upgrades: the back row will feature two independent seats with adjustable, extendable cushions and seemingly equipped with leg rests; the backrests are also expected to support angle adjustment.

Additionally, the new ET7 carries a large central armrest, which is likely to integrate a wireless charging module for smartphone. Behind the front seats, an entertainment screen has been installed on each side. The preview picture indicates that the rear seats can to controlled through the both screens.

Spy shots of the new car were exposed not long ago. The 2024 ET7 model has added the moon gray silver color, which was previously available as an optional color on the ES8 model. The tailights have been partially redesigned and it comes with a new style of multi-spoke wheels, enhancing its vibe of an executive sedan.

At last April's Auto Shanghai, NIO unveiled the 2023 NIO ET7, which features 15 detailed updates compared to the previous generation, including the  Dawn Gold color, towing package, N-Box, and heated front windshield. The price remained from 458,000 yuan to 536,000 yuan.

The existing NIO ET7's entire series come standard with intelligent air suspension and dynamic damping control, equipped with a 4D dynamic control system. Boasting a low drag coefficient of 0.23Cd, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds with a braking distance of just 33.5 meters from 100 to 0 km/h.

The NIO ET7 features intelligent frameless electric suction doors and Double-dash daytime running lights. It's also equipped with NAD (NIO Assisted and Intelligent Driving) system and the ADAM supercomputing platform. The vehicle comes with 33 high-performance sensing hardware units, and supports UWB digital key and smart key.
