Among them, the factory inventory decreased by 345,200 tons, and the social inventory decreased by 381,600 tons. On the supply side, according to SMM research, long-process steel mills are shifting towards high-quality materials, while short-process steel mills are facing increased scrap costs, leading to a decrease in production willingness and a reduction in building materials production output. Supply side pressures continue to decline. On the demand side, steel prices rebounded, market procurement transactions improved significantly, and terminal start-ups continued to improve.
