SMM Daily Review: Steel mills continue to purchase on demand, coking coal prices continue to be under pressure

Today, the coking coal market has experienced weak transactions, with downstream coking plants once again expanding losses, reducing raw material purchases, and lowering raw material inventories, leading to continued weak demand for coking coal. On the supply side, there has not been much overall change, with most coal mines continuing their previous production pace. With the further contraction of demand, the coking coal fundamental is slightly loose. Therefore, in the short term, coking coal prices are expected to continue to be under pressure.
